What Should You Do Right Now?

If a tree is down, split, leaning, or hanging dangerously, keep people away first. Once everyone is safe, call us and we will come and make it safe.

Keep well clear

First, stay calm and keep everyone well clear of the tree and any hanging branches. Do not stand under it or try to move it yourself.

If power lines are involved, stay back

If the tree is touching or near power lines, treat it as live and dangerous. Stay back and keep others away. Call the emergency services on 999 and your electricity network operator on 105 before you do anything else.

If a road is blocked, report it

If the tree is blocking a public road, report it to the local council or the police so they can warn other drivers.

Then call us to make it safe

Once you and everyone else are safe, call us and we will come and make it safe.

What Counts as a Tree Emergency?

A tree emergency is any tree or large branch that has fallen, or could fall at any moment. That includes a tree down on a house, car, fence, or across a path or drive.

It also covers a tree leaning or part-uprooted after a storm, a split trunk, or a large branch hanging and ready to drop. A tree blocking access counts too. Not sure how serious it is? Call us and we will talk it through with you.

First was to completely remove a conifer tree , and yesterday , to trim back some willow trees at the back of the garden. From start to finish this company was excellent.  From coming out to quote and then when they came out to actually do the job. They arrived at agreed time . We're excellent at keeping everywhere clean and tidy .Everything had to go through my kitchen as there is no access through my garden,  also the trees were actually on school premises with a large , high wire fence so that made it extremely difficult for the team . From my initial call to him, the service we received was friendly, helpful - giving us advise from his 30 plus years of experience - and also every professional. In addition, having made an initial site visit, Darren was able to book us in for a few hours of work a couple of days later. The work included pruning some trees and some bushes, taking out and replacing some other bushes/plants with multi purpose compost added, edging the front beds and laying bark chippings on them, plus applying a top dressing to the bed in the rear garden. They cleared up all the waste and took it away, too.  All at what we considered to be a reasonable price. Darren was also flexible and agreed to prune a couple of trees and a bush in our neighbours garden. They were also very pleased with the work undertaken. In summary, we can thorougly recommend Treescapes Garden Services and they will have repeat business from ourselves and our neighbours in due course.
